Born in 1993 in a small village Msitu wa Tembo, TPC, Moshi. She is from a family of 7, three girls and two boys. She is the youngest. Her father passed away in 2000, this left her mom to take care of the family. Some of the older siblings also have families of their own and are finding it difficult to feed them. Her mother is fairly old, which make it difficult for her to take care of the family. KiT started to support Sara in 2008, towards her O-levels.
