News from Naomi

Dear friends and KiT sponsors!

We bring you more news, this time from Naomi :)

Hello,

It has been four years since you generously supported me in pursuing my higher education, and I can't express my gratitude enough. My name is Naomi Winford Kimambo, and I stand here as a transformed individual, all thanks to the KiT organization that fully supported me throughout my journey.

I started my journey after completing my O'Level studies when I received support to continue with higher education. In July 2020, I joined Arusha Science High School, where your sponsorship provided me with financial security to fully immerse myself in the curriculum without any worries.

For my university studies that began in 2022, I am very thankful for your support, as I was able to purchase books, stationery, computers, and other facilities, pay for accommodations that enabled me to start my university life and pay for extra courses outside of classes.

I am currently in the first semester of my second year of study, majoring in a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. University life has taught me management, prioritization, and self-sufficiency skills.

My first year was challenging, as it was my first time being self-dependent and trying to adapt to a new environment. But throughout the year, I am grateful that I excelled well in my academics, where I ended up getting a good performance, as my results were a 3.8 GPA.

After my first year of study, I joined The Industrial Practical Training for two months where I learnt more skills that have helped me to be prepared for the working experience. In The IPT program, I learned more about Data science, project management and web development.

I appreciate your support throughout the years, and I pray that God continues to bless you as you support students in Tanzania. Your generosity has given me more than just the ability to educate myself; it has given me the power to contribute to science, make positive changes, and inspire those who fear to chase their dreams. Thank you for your kind heart and support.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Naomi
